April 8-10 2016

Speaker for the weekend - Billy Porter

Registration Procedures

We will accept registration in the order that it is received in the mail or dropped off in person. We cannot take over the phone or electronic registration.

Due to sessions running full in the summer; registration will be closed one week prior to the beginning of each session. Registration received after that will be accepted as long as a space is available and will be taken in the order they are received in the mail. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfill tent requests at that point. Anytime a session is full, all incoming registration received will be placed on a waiting list. You will be notified by phone that you are on the waiting list. We will notify you if we have cancellations, but that could be as late as 4:00PM on the day the camp session begins. Openings will be filled from the waiting list in the order they were received.

Please take the time now to send in your registration!

Let's Shade WRYC

As you know,White River Youth Camp has been providing much needed ministry to young people for over 40 years. Each year, the worldliness and ungodliness that our young people encounter is magnifying. and the support of camp is needed more and more. It is our mission to continue to be a Training Center for Christ.

White River Youth Camp, is built as you know on barren plains but continues to have an enduring spirit to those who spend time there. In order to maintain and improve the facilities and camp grounds the WRYC Board has launched Phase I of modifications to our facility so that we may fully serve the needs of our campers.

In order to fulfill our mission and part of the goal of Phase I, we would like to plant much needed trees around the tents. Planting trees would provide much needed shade and wind break for the campers in the tents.

I am personally committed to raising the funds needed to plant a minimum of 48 shade trees. We need to raise $500 per tree which will include their installation and drip system. I need your help. I have committed to purchasing one tree. I am asking 20 people to commit to either purchasing or raising the money to purchase a minimum of one tree. This may be a large commitment on your part but the benefits of camp are far reaching. Please consider making a commitment to this donation of money and time. All monies raised will be used to secure and plant the trees before camp begins this summer.

My challenge to you is to purchase or raise funds for one tree and then secure one more person to commit to also being responsible for raising money for another tree. Together we can have 48 trees in place by June 1, 2016. Consider your time in the tents, and what a great difference shade trees would have made to your stay. Start making a list of those you can contact.

Please contact me at wrycamp@gmail.com if you are interested in shading WRYC.
